Jeong Ryeo-won

Jeong Ryeo-won (born January 22, 1982) is a South Korean singer turned actress. She is the ex-member of now disbanded girl group Chakra.

Early life
The second of three children, Jeong was born in Korea but emigrated to Brisbane, Australia at the age of 12 with her family. She studied at Macgregor State High School and graduated there.

“In the first few years in Australia, I couldn’t get along with Australian students,” Jung admits. “Since there were few Asians in the neighborhood, the Australian students were very curious about me, but they also bothered me. Thuy Thu Le

Thuy Thu Le (born 23 August 1973) is a retired American actress of Vietnamese heritage.

Thuy Thu Le was born in Saigon, South Vietnam. She was raised and educated in the United States, after her parents left Saigon during the Vietnam War. Thuy was only an infant at the time.

She is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and is bilingual. She speaks fluent Vietnamese and English.

Thuy Thu Le is best known for her role(s) in the 1989 Brian de Palma film Casualties of War, starring Michael J. Fox and Sean Penn. She played a South Vietnamese peasant girl named Tran Thi Oanh, who lived in a remote village in South Vietnam. She was kidnapped, raped and murdered by a group of soldiers. (more…)
