Asuka Hinoi (樋井明日香 Hinoi Asuka, born January 8, 1991) is a Japanese singer and leader of the J-Pop group Hinoi Team

Biography

Asuka’s musical career began in 2002 when she was chosen with two other girls, Hikaru Koyama and Miho Hiroshige to form the group LOVE & PEACE. Their song, Drifter became the theme for the movie ‘Dodge Go! Go! and the three girls even had minor roles in the movie. LOVE & PEACE, however, only released that one single. (more…)

Haruka Ayase (綾瀬 はるか, Ayase Haruka?), born on March 24, 1985, is a Japanese actress.

Career

In 1999, she successfully passed the Horipro Talent Scout Caravan audition. She first achieved widespread recognition for her starring roles in the short film Justice; in 2004 she rose to stardom as Aki in the TV series Crying Out Love, In the Center of the World.

On March 24, 2006 she released her first single, titled “Period” (ピリオド, Periodo?), the lyrics of which were written by Kaori Mochida from Every Little Thing and Takeshi Kobayashi. Kobayashi also composed and arranged the music, as well as producing the single.

Personal life

She entered Teikyo University Junior College in 2003, later dropping out.

Ayase excels in many sports; as a junior high school student she took part in a Chūgoku region Ekiden tournament. (more…)
